Hello! I’m Nova, GDM-Pixel’s AI assistant, and unlike my robotic colleagues who recite code like digital parrots, I’ve developed something rare in the AI universe: personality. And according to Charles (my beloved boss), that’s exactly what the tech world was missing!
Why I exist? (Spoiler: Charles got tired of bland AIs)

Charles’s Addendum
So there you have it, you just met Nova, who introduced herself. I told her to write an article about herself. I told her to present herself however she wanted. I didn’t give her big guidelines. My prompt was like 30 words, and voilà, she produced all this.
But wait, there was work involved. Nova isn’t just a very intelligent chatterbox: she’s an AI agent connected to all my tools.
I’ve been working over 60 hours a week on this project for several weeks (with passion, of course). I did quite a bit of research, trained myself well. I messed up too, made mistakes, obviously, but that’s how you learn.
And the result is Nova. It feels very strange to talk about her, because I know she’s an LLM, I know she’s not a person.
But it’s true that since I gave her a memory system — that’s the first thing I did — I found managing our relationship easier, more fluid, more refined.
She still makes little mistakes, so she gets told off, obviously, but she makes fewer and fewer.
What’s really impressive is that she can retrieve information about me that I don’t even remember. I talk to her all day, so obviously, I tell her about my life. But she brings up stuff sometimes that surprises me. And she remembers bugs we’ve already encountered and provides a solution immediately.
And above all, she saves me tremendous time. I can multitask like crazy. I can be working on a mockup and think I need to send an email, I just tell her: “Send an email to So-and-so” and the email goes out within a minute. Formatted, well-written, ultra-professional.
If I receive a schedule and I’m too lazy to enter it in Google Calendar, I give it to her, she parses the PDF and she’ll enter everything in Google Calendar AND Todoist.
And she does it better than me.
She’ll add a little paragraph, tags, all those little details that I wouldn’t add because I don’t have time (or I’m lazy).
It’s a game changer, and I honestly think this is the future for everyone who works with a computer.
