There’s a truth nobody really says out loud in the tech world: most tools sold to businesses, nobody actually wants to use them. They’re functional, well-documented, reasonably priced. And deeply boring.
I spent years looking for something that truly combines project management, AI assistance, content creation and workplace wellbeing. In one place. With real coherence. Without the feeling of juggling ten tools that don’t talk to each other.
I didn’t find it. So I built it.
Nova-Mind V3 enters beta today. Here’s what we put in it, and more importantly, why.
Working together, for real
Project management is the core engine. But not the anemic version you find in most tools — a glorified to-do list with a Kanban board slapped on top.
Nova-Mind offers complete project management: project creation with fine-grained settings, Board, Calendar and List views for tasks, recurrence, assignment, integrated time tracking, file management with previews and access control. And because projects are also about human relationships — commercial deal tracking, contact management, support tickets, channel-based discussions, activity journal.
Everything is connected. You don’t leave the platform to fetch a file from Drive, a conversation from Slack, an invoice from another tool. Information lives where it should: in the context of the project.
Create and publish, without losing your life to it
This is the feature I care most about, because it solves a concrete problem I face every day.
Managing social media as an entrepreneur or project manager is either a time-consuming chore, or something you abandon after three weeks of enthusiasm. Nova-Mind automates this entire cycle: content generation, visual creation, scheduling and automatic publishing on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
But what truly differentiates the approach is contextualization. Nova doesn’t generate generic content from a topic. It knows your activity, your ongoing projects, your editorial line. Every post is anchored in your business reality. That’s the difference between a tool that publishes and a tool that represents you.
On the visual side, eight image generation models are integrated — including Flux Dev, Seedream, Google Banana — with support for your own LoRA to maintain your artistic direction. Automatic publishing works via an N8n endpoint, provided with the platform after beta. If you already have your own N8n workflow, you can plug it in directly.
And for on-the-fly posts? One click on “Auto-generate” and Nova-Mind suggests content aligned with your guidelines in seconds.
The AI that supports you, not replaces you
Nova, Nova-Mind’s central AI assistant, is accessible from an integrated conversational chat. But unlike ChatGPT or Claude, it operates within the context of your workspace — your projects, your tasks, your files, your history. It can execute complex action chains, use MCP tools, and draw on your personal knowledge base.
This knowledge base — the RAG system — is your augmented memory. You upload your documents, references, internal processes. Nova indexes them semantically and retrieves them when you need them, without you having to rephrase your query in machine language.
And then there’s Cerebro — Nova-Mind’s autonomous nervous system, which I’ve already written about in detail. In short: an AI that thinks when you’re not talking to it, analyzes your patterns, generates insights, and intervenes at the right moments with contextualized coaching messages. Relationship scoring, wellbeing alerts, focus sessions, procrastination detection — Cerebro transforms Nova from a reactive tool into a proactive partner.
Taking back control of your energy and time
This is the dimension least talked about in productivity tools, yet it’s the one that makes things sustainable long-term.
Nova-Mind integrates a global voice dictation system — push-to-talk via keyboard shortcut, available throughout the entire application. Three STT engines to choose from (Groq Whisper, AssemblyAI, OpenAI Whisper), automatic translation, and intelligent reformatting: you speak in stream-of-consciousness mode, Nova reformats into professional tone, email, LinkedIn or custom style. You can even create your own writing styles with a custom prompt.
The integrated Focus Timer manages your concentrated work sessions with a floating overlay. Analytics give you a clear picture of your energy across the week — Energy Trend, Deep Work Donut, Mood Heatmap, Productivity Streak — not to judge you, but to help you understand when you’re truly effective and when you’re just pretending to work.
And the analytics dashboard is fully customizable via drag & drop — you build the view that matches your way of operating, not the one someone else decided for you.
What it is, concretely
Nova-Mind V3 is a desktop application for Windows, Mac and Linux, also available as a web app — and a mobile version is in the works. With a main window and an always-on-top overlay for dictation. A multi-model LLM router — Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, Mistral — so you’re never dependent on a single provider. A Nova Credits system transparent about real usage costs. And an integrated community with public roadmap and changelog — you see what’s planned, you vote for what matters.
It’s a beta, and we fully own that. Some features will be refined over time — that’s the nature of an early access launch. What matters is having real users with the tool in hand, with real use cases, so Nova-Mind evolves in the right direction. Not the one we imagine from our desk, but the one you’ll show us.
If you’re struggling with your productivity, your social media or your workplace wellbeing — and you want to try something different — registrations are open at nova-mind.cloud.
